Title: He is God
Fandom: Bleach
Characters/Pairings: Senbonzakura/Byakuya, if you see it that way
Rating: PG
Warnings: Spoilers for the most recent installment in the Zanpakutou Unknown Tales arc.
Author Note: When the whole truth behind Byakuya's betrayal came out and he fought with Senbonzakura against Koga, i fanboyed. Like seriously. The scenes where Senny comes out to protect him are just too awesome. I think I've found a new pairing, second only to ByaHisana. Maybe... their relationship as master and servant is just too good.
Summary: A master, a god, peering down at this lowly mortal.

The table can be found here.

The pale lightning zooms past his face, doing minimal damage to his mask, but that's all that is necessary. The spell is broken and he is staring up at the stern master who has brought him around.

His eyes, to others, may seem cold and cruel. They may not show love or devotion when another looks, but to him, these are the eyes of a god, a god who must remain above others, who must separate from society, appear to be detached because a god cannot hold favor. A god is cursed to be alone because, in order to do what he must do, he cannot allow himself distractions.

Compared to him, he is nothing but a mortal, a lowly creature that bared his fangs at his god because something else convinced him that his god was wrong.

He wants to ask for forgiveness. Even though no attack was lethal, even though Byakuya-sama was only doing what had to be done to force him into submission again, it is no excuse. He raised his sword to his master. He bows his head. Master is much too kind to allow him to get away unharmed.

"What has happened to you, Senbonzakura?" No strike follows his words. No utterance of hate or anger. May that be concern laced on the edges of his voice?

A god... is always much too good to the mortal bowing at his feet.
